How do I add smutrecs.com to Claude?

Add https://smutrecs.com/api/mcp as a custom connector: in Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste the URL. No sign-in is needed.

What it can answer

Ask Claude things like "How spicy is this book?", "Is it on Kindle Unlimited?" or "Books like this but less dark". Claude uses four read-only tools:

• Search books: find rated books by title, author, trope, spice range, darkness, Kindle Unlimited or standalone.
• Get a book's ratings: spice level, scenes, darkness, tropes, content warnings, Kindle Unlimited status and the evidence.
• Find similar books: books like one you name, but spicier, less dark or standalone.
• Series reading order: a series in order, with the spice level of each book.

What it returns

The same ratings as the book pages, with estimates labelled and a link to each book's page on smutrecs.com, where every rating's sources are listed. Results contain no shopping links. The connector can't change anything. See how we rate and the privacy policy.
